Email & Password Sign-In

Sign in to GenerateBot using your email address and password.

The most common way to access GenerateBot is with your email and password.

Creating an Account

Sign Up

  1. Visit Sign Up
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Create a password
  4. Accept terms of service
  5. Click "Create Account"

Email Verification

After signing up:

  1. Check your inbox
  2. Find email from GenerateBot
  3. Click verification link
  4. Your account is now active

Didn't receive the email?

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Wait a few minutes
  • Request new verification
  • Contact support if needed

Signing In

Standard Sign-In

  1. Visit Sign In
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Click "Sign In"

Remember Me

Check "Remember me" to:

  • Stay signed in longer
  • Skip entering credentials
  • Only use on personal devices

Sign Out

To sign out:

  1. Click your profile avatar
  2. Select "Sign Out"
  3. Or go to Settings → Sign Out

Password Management

Creating Strong Passwords

Requirements:

  • At least 8 characters
  • Mix of letters and numbers
  • Include special characters

Tips:

  • Use a password manager
  • Don't reuse passwords
  • Make it memorable but unique
  • Avoid personal information

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Find Update your Password
  3. Enter new password
  4. Confirm new password
  5. Click "Update Password"

Forgot Password

If you can't remember your password:

  1. Go to Sign In
  2. Click "Forgot Password"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check email for reset link
  5. Click the link
  6. Create new password

Reset link:

  • Expires in 1 hour
  • Can only be used once
  • Request new one if needed

Email Management

Current Email

Your email is used for:

  • Signing in
  • Notifications
  • Password recovery
  • Important updates

Updating Email

To change your email:

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Find Update your Email
  3. Enter new email address
  4. Enter same email again to confirm
  5. Click "Update Email Address"
  6. Verify new email

Note: You'll need to verify the new email before the change takes effect.

Security Tips

Protect Your Account

✅ Do:

  • Use unique passwords
  • Enable MFA
  • Keep email updated
  • Sign out on shared devices
  • Report suspicious activity

❌ Don't:

  • Share your password
  • Use public computers
  • Ignore security emails
  • Click suspicious links

Account Compromise

If you think your account was compromised:

  1. Change password immediately
  2. Enable MFA if not already
  3. Review recent activity
  4. Check connected apps
  5. Contact support

Common Issues

Can't Sign In

Check:

  • Email is spelled correctly
  • Password is correct
  • Caps Lock is off
  • Account is verified

Try:

  • Password reset
  • Different browser
  • Clear cache and cookies

Account Locked

After too many failed attempts:

  • Wait 15-30 minutes
  • Use password reset
  • Contact support

Email Not Received

Verification or reset emails:

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Wait a few minutes

  1. Visit the website
  2. Sign in as usual
  3. Full functionality available
