Available Providers

Google Sign-In

Sign in with your Google account:

  1. Click "Sign in with Google"
  2. Select your Google account
  3. Authorize GenerateBot
  4. You're signed in!

Benefits:

  • No new password needed
  • Quick one-click sign-in
  • Uses Google's security

Using Social Sign-In

First Time

When using social sign-in for the first time:

  1. Click the provider button
  2. Authorize access
  3. Account created automatically
  4. Complete any required setup

Returning Users

After the first time:

  1. Click the provider button
  2. You're signed in!
  3. No authorization needed

Account Linking

If you have an existing account:

  • Sign in with email first
  • Go to Settings
  • Link social accounts
  • Use either method to sign in

What Information is Shared

From Google

GenerateBot receives:

  • Your email address
  • Your name
  • Profile picture

We do NOT receive:

  • Your password
  • Your contacts
  • Your files
  • Other personal data

Security

Provider Security

Social sign-in is secure:

  • No password stored with us
  • Authentication handled by provider
  • Uses industry-standard OAuth

Managing Access

To revoke access:

Google:

  1. Go to Google Account
  2. Security → Third-party apps
  3. Find GenerateBot
  4. Remove access

Troubleshooting

Sign-In Failed

Check:

  • Pop-ups are allowed
  • Cookies are enabled
  • You selected correct account

Try:

  • Different browser
  • Clear cache
  • Disable ad blockers temporarily

Wrong Account

If you signed in with wrong account:

  1. Sign out of GenerateBot
  2. Sign out of the provider (Google)
  3. Sign in again
  4. Select correct account

Account Already Exists

If your email is already registered:

  • Use existing sign-in method
  • Or link accounts in Settings
  • Contact support if needed
